The Nagaur Fair is held in the month of January or February in Nagaur in Rajasthan. This is basically a cattlefair but the tourists come to this fair and enjoy the four-day festivities. Besides the prime purpose of the fair, which is the trading of cattle – the cows, bullocks, oxen and camels, there are other activities like the cock- fights and the bull- fights.
The RTDC puts up a Tourist Village to provide accommodation for the tourists visiting Nagaur during the fair. Nagaur Fair in the year 2000 will be held from the 12th to the 15th of January.
